Carnivorous Plants and other curiosities Nursery

G’day, and welcome to Captive Exotics online nursery. We are an Australian nursery specialising in carnivorous plants in particular Nepenthes, or climbing pitcher plants. We hope you enjoy browsing through our gallery of photos taken in habitat, in South East Asia, Australia and beyond as well as cultivated plants of the clones we sell.

We are based in the Blue Mountains, New South Wales, Australia where the climate is temperate. Our location allows us to grow most lowland species in a heated glasshouse and highland species with the aid of evaporative cooling for the hottest days in summer.

Captive Exotics is managed by Greg Bourke, a well known and respected carnivorous plant enthusiast for over 20 years. Wholesale enquiries welcome.
