Carnivorous Plants and other curiosities Nursery

G’day, and welcome to Captive Exotics online nursery. We are an Australian nursery specialising in carnivorous plants in particular Nepenthes, or climbing pitcher plants. We hope you enjoy browsing through our gallery of photos taken in habitat, in South East Asia, Australia and beyond.

We are based in Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia where the climate is temperate. Our location allows us to grow most lowland species with minimal heating and highland species with the aid of evaporative cooling in summer.

Captive Exotics is managed by Greg Bourke, a well known a respected carnivorous plant enthusiast for over 20 years. I can assure personal service and honest advice as I want you to grow these plants succesfully. I am an enthusiast, just like you.
